Bailey is the undisputed king of the house. He gets what he wants when he wants it and doesn't take no for an answer. If he wants to poop, he lets you know; if he wants to eat, he lets you know; if he wants to drink, he lets you know. He has mastered the NUMBER ONE DOG TRICK OF ALL TIME:
Bailey is a 14 year old fifteen-inch Beagle. His birthday is in July. For a dog that old he sure doesn't act like it. He sleeps more soundly then he used to but he's still very active. He still gets furious when the mailman arrives, loves to go on walks (the Houston Arboretum is is favorite place - as soon as he gets out of the car he's so excited he has to poop!) and eats like there's no tomorrow. I keep telling him that he has to stick around for about 35 more years as you can't have a pack with just two people in it, can you?
He's such a city dog. LeAnne and I have a small ranch that we just acquired and when we went to walk the perimeter (I told you it was small!), Bailey refused to follow! Instead he waited on the porch until we got back. No way was he going to get near the cows!
If you compare the new pictures of Bailey with the older ones (the one at the top, for instance) y0u can see how much whiter his face has gotten over the years.
